'No man is an island'.....I just happen to live on one!

There is a new moon tonight! I decided that this was the night I was going to post my first blog! I'm only new to the world of blogging, which was opened up to me from some new hobbies I've acquired over the last year. My mother laughs at me when I'm talking about baking, or quilting, or making something from string....considering she spent years trying to 'teach' me these things! So I'm not sure how this blog will go. But I can't wait to give it a try. I'm dedicating this first post to two lovely girls from the USA who visited Inis Oírr this summer, and said that I should definitely do a blog,especially about my Elderflower Cordial. So Hannah & Gracie, this one is for you!
